The holy grail of fly casting......that extra 5 yards. We all strive for it, yet few achieve it. The new XS-ED changes all that.
Our aim in developing the ED line was simple....to produce a line which could genuinely and regularly be cast 35 to 40 yards by experienced anglers.
To reach the holy grail it was clear we had to re-write the rule book. Throw away the AFTM line rating and re-work the line weight so you are matching the same weight of line at 25 yards as you would a conventional line at say 15 yards. Combine the new line weight system with some innovative new line profiles then add some snowbee XS fly line formulation and you have the ultimate distance fly line.
