Shimano STC Mini Tele Rods
An upgrade from the exceedingly popular STC Exage BX Mini Tele-Spin, Shimano have now introduced the newer, lighter and more modern STC Mini Tele Spin. This rod utilises the same Shimano Travel concept to create a highly compact spinning rod that can literally be taken anywhere across the globe.
The blanks are telescopic for a super compact and highly transport friendly design. The blank is made from an incredibly durable and tough nano and XT60 carbon construction. This produces a blank 35% stronger and 15% lighter than conventional rod blanks.
The rod is fitted throughout with Shimano stainless steel hardlite guides and these combine a light yet robust anodised steel frame with an aluminium oxide liner. These guides offer the perfect balance of strength and performance.
The rod includes a high quality and durable full cork handle for comfort and a secure grip. It also features a quality Shimano DPS reel seat.
There is a wide variety of models available from light up to medium casting power. The shorter series are great for fishing in small streams for species like trout and chub. Whilst the longer series are also perfect for fishing in a bit larger waters with a float and some bait or just casting medium to small lures.
The Shimano STC Mini Tele Spin is supplied in a zipped rod tube that has space for a reel to be fitted onto the rod and carried while in transport. You can select your model from our drop down menu.
